Next week will see the release of the Amnion remix album 'Slow Calm'

Curated by Daniel Tuttle and released through Bottle-Imp Productions, 'Slow Calm' brings together a diverse range of talented and respected artists and their unique reinterpretations of the title track.
'Slow Calm' is a subtle orchestral piece that uses a single violin recoding looped, layered and manipulated. The track has an ebb and flow feel to it, constantly progressing and developing over time with subtle details being revealed with each new cycle of the violins foreboding tones.

The track was originally produced in 2008 to be included on a compilation CD and has since been used in performances, installations, dance choreography and film. I am excited to finally release this piece along with these sensational remixes. I am truly grateful to all the artists who contributed their time and effort to this release.

Tracklist:

  1. Slow Calm [original]
  2. Slow Calm (In the wake of Walpurga's ashes) remix by Shinjuku Thief
  3. Tropic Calm remix by Bramble
  4. Ever Slowing Calm remix by Life Toward Twilight
  5. Slow Calm remix by Scott Mitting
  6. Post Calm remix by Row Boat
  7. Slow Calm remix by Sub Not Dub
